The 200 tour started on Wednesday August 20 2008 and finished on Tuesday September 9 2008.

Wednesday August 20

Keansburg

Fly London, UK to New York, then drive to Keansburg. Not been to this park before and we will be touching the Atlantic Ocean to help make the trip truly Coast 2 Coast!

Clementon Park

After a quick stop at Keansburg is off to Clementon Park to ride HellCat for the first time. Clementon Park is investing this year to make the park more attractive, including an improved and stable operating schedule which has always worked against us in previous attempts to visit this park!.

Thursday August 21

Knoebel's

Knoebel's Amusement Resort to ride the Flying Turns for the first time (subject to opening). Knoebel's also has two classic woodies - Twister and Phoenix and the famous unique Knoebel's atmosphere!

Friday August 22

Waldameer

Waldameer to ride the Ravine Flyer II for the first time. Let's hope the park has improved since our last visit!

Saturday August 23

Holiday World

Nothing new for us here, but 3 world-class wooden coasters to take through their paces.

Sunday August 24

Six Flags St. Louis

Six Flags St. Louis to ride their new Evel Knievel coaster. We have always had a great day out at this park and, with 3 woodies, this is definitely a coaster-lovers destination.

Monday August 25

Six Flags Great America

Again, nothing new for us here, but we couldn't drive by without stopping in!

Little Amerricka

Drive up to Little Amerricka for a quick go on the Meteor junior woodie, just to say we've done it! If we get to Wisconsin Dells in time, might sneak a quick go on Hades and Avalanche. Hades in the dark........!

Tuesday August 26

Timber Falls

A day in the Dells starts with Avalanche, one of the best kept coaster secrets in the 'States!

Mount Olympus

Onto Mount Olympus, home to our Number 1 coaster in the world, Hades!

Wednesday August 27

Valleyfair!

A day at Valleyfair, and a new coaster for us to add to the list, Renegade Outlaw Coaster. It's been 9 years since we visited this park, so it'll be interesting to see how it's changed!

Thursday August 28

Nickelodeon Universe

A quick trip to the Mall, before a long drive ahead!

Friday August 29

Relocation driving day - we're going down to Texas! This might not be a "coaster free" day - we'll have to wait and see what pans out.

Saturday August 30

Six Flags Over Texas

The original and, in our opinion, still the best Six Flags park in the chain. Texas Giant holds a special place in our hearts .It was Adrian's second US woodie and, with the demise of Astroworld, the 1st remaining.

Sunday August 31

Kemah Boardwalk

Adding the Boardwalk Bullet to the 'woodies done' list is our main objective here. It'll be interesting to see how it rides as there has been various reports circulating about this ride..  Can't wait!

Monday September 1 - BUST

Waterville USA

Labor Day signifies the end of the summer season for most parks, so just enough time to squeeze an addition to our wooden ride list with the Cannonball Run - the park is SO far out the way!

Tuesday September 2

Time to rack up some of those 7000 miles and head west!

Wednesday September 3

    Yet more driving!

Thursday September 4

Royal Gorge Bridge

Adrian's (forty-something) birthday and a treat - not quite a theme park, but somewhere we tried to visit in 2005 and ran out of time - the big attraction here, the Royal Rush Skycoaster - only 100 feet tall, but swinging out over the gorge with a 1200 feet drop - can't wait!

Friday September 5

Park City

Again, no coaster's here - or is there? The Alpine Coaster has a lift hill and uses gravity to get back down the mountain. Sound's like a coaster to us!

Logan Celebration Centre

No coaster's here - but an adrenaline-filled evening awaits with Sonic Boom, Sky Sling, Screamin' Swing, Sky Coaster and a Bungee (that's for Ian only!!!)

Saturday September 6

A full day's drive and we're on the home run!

Sunday September 7

Silverwood

Home to two classic wooden coasters and our number 2 in the world, Tremors. It'll be great to be back to the remote outpost, and interesting to see their latest coaster in situ - we've ridden similar elsewhere and they pack one hell of a punch, indeed, one of the few coaster designs that actually scares Adrian! It's gonna tower over the rest of the park.

Monday September 8

Puyallup Fair

Our final riding day and one those awkward-to-ride coasters as it has a very limited operating calendar - still, reports of the ride are good and it looks like the last 'to-do' wooden coaster in the US will be a good one.

Tuesday September 9

Might drive to the coast today as our flight isn't until late - chance to touch the Pacific Ocean to truly say we have been coast 2 coast! - Due back in the UK sometime Wednesday.
